with a team like that, it’s kinda hard to see HOW they can be bottom-lurkers. youth, I suppose.

I’m not going to like playing the bjs in a few years, though.

there are a lot of if’s with the jackets

    if Rick Nash stays healthy
if Zherdev contiues to get better
if they pick good draft picks
if they get a good goalie
    if Fritsche continues to grow

essentially your looking at maturity and chemistry. Maybe a better coach or a few more veterans would help their cause.

I see them contending for the playoffs but baqrely missing in the next few

Maybe if Fedorov gets healthy and decides to take up a leadership role.

Hmm.. next year they’re looking at getting Hardigan, possibly Platt, Tollefsen, Picard, and Fritsche from Syracuse (I’m from Syracuse and only missed 3 home game this season… I can tell you these guys can play!), their chances keep getting better and better. I think as the organization matures, CBJ will be getting more and more talented players, and their chances will keep getting better and better… let’s hope for a playoff run next season!
